Cyclists and active mobility supporters enjoyed an exciting community ride as McDonald’s Philippines hosted the Tour De McDo in Antipolo City, Rizal, in celebration of National Bike Day last November 23. Nearly 100 cyclists participated in the scenic 25 kilometer route that highlighted McDonald’s commitment to sustainable and active mobility through its Green and Good program.

The ride began and ended at McDonald’s Mambugan, one of the nine Green and Good flagship stores nationwide. These stores showcase eco friendly features such as solar panels, solar powered lampposts, rainwater harvesting systems, LED lighting, power saving motion sensors and energy efficient air conditioning. To further support cyclists, each Green and Good location includes outdoor amenities like Bike and Dine stations where riders can secure their bikes, rest comfortably and use repair tools while enjoying McDonald’s meals.
Other Green and Good stores include UN Del Pilar in Manila, Shaw Boulevard Wack Wack in Mandaluyong, Delos Reyes in Tagaytay, Nuvali in Sta. Rosa, Sta. Monica Commonwealth in Quezon City, Ayala Crescendo in Tarlac, Davao Global Township in Davao City and Il Corso Cebu.

Riders who want to experience the same route can follow the official map on Strava through this link: Tour De McDo Rizal Route.
This Rizal event marked the third Tour De McDo for 2024, following earlier rides in Baguio City and Ayala, Makati. According to Denise Barrameda, McDonald’s Corporate Communications Senior Manager, the company aims to expand Ride the Arches, the award winning cycling initiative launched in 2023, into a nationwide sustainability movement.

Participants enjoyed a post ride meal featuring the Golden Chicken Curry with Egg, along with exclusive Green and Good shirts, raffle prizes and charity support for Ronald McDonald House Charities. Cyclists can also enjoy the special Cyclist Meal for only ₱109 on the McDonald’s App until November 30.
